Rock and Rhino Learn Responsibility
Have YOU ever met a “Rhino?” Have you ever witnessed a child who is being unmanageable and out of control? Perhaps you’ve seen this “Rhino” in an airport, restaurant, public event or even in their own home. If your answer is a resounding “YES,” then this book series is made just for you!
The tired and frustrated parent/guardian is ready for a better way of “training up” their children, overcoming behavioral and organizational issues. A voice to help guide them along the way. The first book in the series is “Rock & Rhino Learn Responsibility." This book offers an exciting and engaging way for kids to have fun and learn at the same time.
The book is divided into three parts showcasing the lovable and quirky Rock & Rhino demonstrating fun and easy examples of what to do, and what not to do, in everyday childhood situations. The third part of the book is for "adults only." This will give you a "Treasure Trove" of information, plus the tools needed to fix the inappropriate behavior. The result will be happier kids and parents! The ultimate goal is for your children to be "ROCKSTARS" and not "Whiney Rhineys!”

Margie Taylor Lisbona
About the Author
How do most fairytales begin? “Once upon a time, in a land far, far away...”
Born in 1952, the story of Margie Taylor Lisbona begins. She knew at an early age exactly what she wanted to be when she grew up – Carol Burnett, or a mom. Married in 1972 and a mother by 1976, her dreams had started coming true — well, the mother part of the dream — unfortunately, Carol Burnett wasn’t looking for a double. In her various careers from marketing to healthcare (and pretty much everything in between), the most rewarding were her 14 years spent in the education system, specifically with elementary and special needs children. Children have always been a source of energy for Margie. In 2006, while caring for her mother and great nephew, she started writing and “Rock” and “Rhino” were born. Now, Margie’s days are spent writing, baking for the wonderful kids at the local Elementary School, and just being a grandma. This is only the beginning of this YaYa’s happily ever after.
“So as the big yellow sun sets over the prairie in Kansas, YaYa, Rock and Rhino send you HUGS AND HI-FIVES!”
Collaborator Brock Pfannenstiel was just 5 years of age when Rock and Rhino were born. He is now in the 5th grade. His transformation from “Rhino” to “ROCKSTAR” is a living testimonial that “Rock and Rhino Learn Responsibility” works. Without his help and love, our worlds would still be upside down. I love you Brock!

About the Illustrator
JP Roberts was born in 1970 in a small rural town in Mississippi. At a very early age, JP discovered a natural talent for drawing and painting. His first published work appeared in his local newspaper at the age of 11. Due to an unfortunate lack of art classes in his high school, JP’s path to illustration was a very interesting journey to say the least. JP graduated from college in 1992 with a business degree and began a career in banking. Eventually, his
need to be creative grew stronger and he left the suit behind in order to return to his first love of telling stories through his art. Along the way, he spent time in architecture school, designed motion graphics for Country Music Television and professional sports teams and was trained in the art of character animation. Today, JP focuses his efforts on creating fun and humorous art for children’s books, magazines and greeting cards. JP currently lives in
Shawnee, Kansas with his wife Alicia and their daughters Zoe and Cate.
