“Ramblings” is a compilation of S.J. Pellingra Sr.’s commentaries on a wide variety of topics regarding Christian and Biblical living. This is his interpretation of Scripture as he has faithfully applied to his own daily living throughout his life.

Christians may attend Biblical studies and read commentaries in order to satisfy an inner longing to know God’s Word on a deeper and more personal level. It is the Christian’s desire to discern what God truly wants to reveal through His Word. To this end, S.J. Pellingra Sr. offers this work with the hope that those who seek shall find, and ultimately, come to know the truth of God’s grace, mercy, and love on a level that transforms every aspect of their lives.

S.J. Pellingra Sr.

S.J. Pellingra Sr. was born and raised in Rochester, New York, in 1935. He was married to his first wife (Mary Jane Lomondo) in 1957. They had 4 children, and now have 10 grandchildren. Mary Jane went home to be with the Lord after 38 years of marriage.
The author married again in 1997 to Sally Werner Schmidt, in Elmira New York. Later, they moved to Osteen, Florida, where they now reside.

It has been S.J. Pellingra’s interest throughout his adult life, since he came to know the Lord, to assist those who have a genuine need to walk that closer walk - even through that ‘narrow gate’, for an enriched Christian life.
