Repentfully Yours

by Anthony C. Nelson

Repentfully Yours contains 12 short stories about people who faced common moral issues, that teenagers and young men face today. The characters in the stories made bad choices and succumbed to immoral behavior, but later repented. These stories and the scriptures that follow them are intended to instruct young men on how to avoid many of the common moral failures of life. They also help to shine a light on potential immoral behavior of which many young men are unaware. The most important part of this book is that it presents young men with a decision to receive Christ as Lord and Savior and a chance to have a better relationship with Him.

Repentfully Yours is perfect for the teenager who is about to enter high school, college, or any environment filled with peer pressure, drugs, drinking, stealing, cheating, rebellion, etc. Repentfully Yours can be read by an individual or used in youth groups, Sunday School classes, Prison Ministries, or High School classes, to promote discussion and provide biblical answers to the moral dilemmas facing many young men. Prayerfully, God will use the repentful pleas of the people in these stories and the scripture-based questions to help young men choose a pathway of godliness and righteousness when they stand at the crossroads of moral decisions.

Anthony C. Nelson

Anthony C. Nelson was a misguided teenager who made a number of mistakes prior to receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of twenty four. Soon after, God allowed him to see how he had gone astray. Like many other Christians God gave him a heart of repentance and regret for his wrongdoings. God also gave him the passion and opportunity for reaching back to visit and speak to young men in juvenile detention centers. Since 2000, he has participated in prison ministries as a member of Victory Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida, First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Glenarden, Maryland, and Galilee Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana where he was an Associate Minister under the leadership of Pastor E. Edward Jones. He has served alongside other faithful brothers carrying the gospel message of hope and salvation to countless troubled youth.
Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from North Carolina A&T State University and a master of business administration from the University of Pittsburgh before working for several corporations. After turning his life over to Christ, God allowed Anthony to earn a master’s in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and a doctorate in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He has taught business courses and held various administrative positions, such as department chair and dean, at several universities. Anthony enjoys martial arts and is a former three-time State Champion and U.S. National Champion in Tae Kwon Do.
