The annual Moonbeam Children's Book Awards celebrates outstanding books whose stories and messages inspire children's imaginations and encourage a love of reading. This year, four FriesenPress authors received well-earned recognition for their books! We caught up with Sandra Appleby, Ashley Blacow-Draeger, Zentul Madhani, and Sherry McMillan to hear about the inspiration behind their books, the experiences that shaped their writing journeys, and what this recognition means to them.
