You have one chance to make a good first impression. A beautiful and on-brand book cover can make the difference between readers adding your book to their cart or leaving it on the shelf.

Every FriesenPress Publishing Path includes professional front and back cover design. For enhanced options, upgrade your cover with our popular Premium or Elite Cover Design services.

No matter which direction you choose, our talented team of experts will take your creative direction and deliver a cover you'll be proud to sign for years to come.

Premium Cover Design ($349)

Great work takes time. Premium Cover Design provides your designer with additional hours to invest in your cover. This allows your designer to implement more advanced artistic techniques that appeal to current trends, specific genres, and reader preferences.

You’ll begin by providing a robust outline for the vision of your book cover. From that outline, your team will create multiple eye-catching concepts from scratch for you to review. Your chosen concept is then turned into a professionally polished book cover that will stand out from the crowd.

  • 2 to 3 custom concepts for your cover

  • Up to 2 Adobe stock image licenses

  • 1 revision round

Elite Cover Design ($599)

Elite Cover Design whisks you from the writing desk to the design studio. Building on the many features of Premium Cover Design, the centerpiece of the Elite Cover Design service is a direct consultation call with your designer. In getting to know you, your book, and your publishing goals directly, the foundation of your custom cover is set.

With the foundation established, expect high quality enhancements to your book design process — such as original and customized art, graphics, and/or typefaces. The finished product will be a bookstore-ready cover that’s as special and unique as the manuscript contained within.

  • A direct consultation with your designer (up to 1 hour)

  • Up to 3 custom cover concepts

  • Up to 3 Adobe stock image licenses

  • 2 revision rounds
