Our Top Blog Posts of 2022

Through what felt like an endless cycle of openings and closings, 2022 became a new beginning for many authors. Those who published their books during the pandemic were for the first time finally able to hold book launches and connect with readers in-person. While diminishing the miraculous power of the technology we carry around in our pockets every day, we know how eager many of you were to safely and responsibly celebrate your books with your friends, family, and the readers who love them. This year was the year that wish could finally come true.

On the topic of wishes, early 2022 saw the delivery of one of our authors’ most-requested publishing services (and our first new format since eBooks): audiobooks. In addition to launching this powerful new storytelling option, we introduced the FriesenPress Author Spotlight, where we highlight some of the unexpected and amazing places our authors’ books have taken them. We also started offering our expert publishing insights in the form of free in-person and online speaking engagements. We published our 8,000th title and continued to provide wide-ranging practical advice to help authors navigate the publishing industry with confidence.

As we put a bow on the year that was, we’re taking a moment to revisit 10 of our most impactful and popular blog posts of 2022. We hope these articles inspire your writing and publishing journey today and in the year ahead.
