FriesenPress employees laced up their shoes to support the CIBC Run for the Cure. A team of eleven participated in the 5km run/walk around the University of Victoria, helping to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Lt. Col. Chris Linford of the Canadian Armed Forces has written his first book, “Warrior Rising,” with FriesenPress. After tragic experiences in global war zones, Chris developed posttraumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. “Warrior Rising” is the story of his personal battle, and survival.
